Question by Marcos R: How much money does a locksmith make in California?
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I’m thinking about pursuing a career as a locksmith. But I don’t know where to start. Does anyone know of any schools that can provide training in that type of field? Does a locksmith make good money? If anyone out there is familiar with this type of work please help me out with any type of information. Thanks

try to be a apprentice in a locksmith shop, and upon graduation, u probably makes around $ 40,000 a yr

Starting salary is around 30,000, but like any job, you can expect to make more if you start your own business, or go bankrupt, LOL.
